BMO Okanagan Half Marathon

This weekend, I participated in my first ever half marathon. I did the BMO Kelowna Half, and I even managed to finish under my goal time.
Running this event has made something very apparent to me: I am not doing myself any favours by staying at my current weight. My knees ached from packing all my extra weight across that finish line. Despite being active, I am still about 45 pounds overweight. I want to improve as a runner, and to do this, I will need to do something about this body of mine.
This blog will be documenting the events that take place as I journey through improving as a runner. So, feel free to sit back and enjoy these endeavors.
